Since I am flat-out broke, I cannot afford highlights. As I cannot afford highlights, I decided to buy some hair dye and do something similar to my natural hair colour (so when I grow it out, the fugly highlighted tips will not be as noticeable).
I bought a box of dark brown (as I am a mousey darkish colour). Dark brown my ass.
I now have cheap, emo-looking black hair. Black as black can be. And it is simply awful. I look like Pete Wentz. Who is a man.
Thinking perhaps it looked awful because it emphasizes the imbalance of my pixie crop growing-out i.e. stupidly long fringe, long hair on the back of my neck, stupid amounts of volume on top, I decided to give my fringe a quick trim. Usually this is not a problem (I always trim my own fringe because it grows quick, and I can do it reasonably well), but my regular scissors went missing. So I had to use huge, blunted ones instead.
There is really no need for me to carry on describing what has happened. So no pictures until my hair is somehow fixed via a) shaving it off or b) suicide.
